Maine

Corey and I went to Maine, and these are a few highlights...

We were in the yellow balloon.

Memorial Day

We went camping in Richard B Russell state park for Memorial Day weekend. It was hot but fun, and every now and then we had a nice breeze. The girls even hiked 3 miles with very little carrying.

B-I-N-G-O

We came to see Granny, and she was out playing Bingo. The girls decided to "help" her, but she was watching their boards more closely than they were watching hers. 😉

Pigeon Forge / Smoky Mountains, day 5

We made several stops along in Smoky Mountain National Park on our way home today. I look forward to going back there to camp and enjoy the quieter side of that area.

Overlook at the NC/TN state line.

An elk grazing on the side of the road.

Pigeon Forge, day 4

We started today with some old-timey photos. We bought the digital images, but this is just a snapshot of the printed photo. Love seeing their sweet, different personalities coming through.

Then we went to the Dixie Stampede show, which was very entertaining.

One of the horses was named Mudd.

After the show, we took helicopters rides to see the sights from above. Rosi and I got to take a longer route, while Corey, Carsen, and Teagan took a quicker version.

Rainbow from the ground, the second we saw today (third of the trip).

Rainbow from the sky, the third one today and fourth of the trip.
