Rosalyn loves playing with this mud-maker kitchen my mom got for her. She recently figured out how to pump the water into the sink and has made some delightful messes on the kitchen floor - she's very proud of her success!

Mud-makin' Chef Rozi

Superhero with a pink bike
She has a pink and purple bike, AND she can woman-handle it around the yard - straight through my garden beds, in fact.

Egg
When Rosalyn was eating breakfast, she decided she was done with her egg. She absolutely insisted on putting it in the trash but couldn't get the trashcan open, so she just set the egg on top.
Table or chair
Rosalyn got tired of sitting in a chair at the table to eat, so she set her dinner up in the chair instead.
Feeding otters goldfish
Yeah - it sounds like a ridiculous book title, but that's exactly what Rosalyn tried to do with the stuffed otter Corey brought back from his kayaking trip for her. She took goldfish crackers from her snack cup to share with the otter.

Bath time?
Rosalyn has been hit or miss with baths lately. Some nights she absolutely does NOT want to take one, and other times she climbs in with her clothes still on to communicate her desire for a bath.
Ladies Night
Last night we had dinner at Verde with great friends: Sandy and Molly. After dinner, Rosalyn escorted them down the street to one of her favorite places- Yoforia (frozen yogurt).
After we got our yogurt and sat down at a table outside, Rosalyn kept walking back to the glass door to peek inside and block the door. It almost seemed like she was trying to keep additional customers out to save all the yogurt for herself. :)

Recycler
Rosalyn knows the importance of being green, thanks to Fancy Nancy, so it was very important for her to help me roll the container of recycling to the curb yesterday. :)

Hard workin' lady
Rosalyn wanted a wagon ride when we got home today, but I wasn't moving fast enough (had to get the mail, etc), so she wheeled the wagon out of the carport for me to speed up the process.
So, we walked down the road to visit our friends Todd and Katie, whose chickens just started laying eggs last week. Actually, only 1 out of the 5 started laying, but the others should follow suite soon.
Roz was excited to help feed the chickens and chase them around the yard.
They were generous enough to give us one of their eggs, which are green, so we are looking forward to breakfast tomorrow. I kind of wish I had some ham to go with it - green eggs and turkey bacon just doesn't have the same ring!

Aquarium
We went to the aquarium with cousin Lily, Aunt Megan and Uncle Jim (not shown). And yes, those are Rosalyn's pink diva sunglasses that she's wearing *in* the aquarium. :)

Fashion model 2
These were after the fashion show. If I get any closeups of her on stage from other parents, I'll post those too!
Summer cleaning day
Since it's too hot to be outside, we are having a major clean up day inside.
Rosalyn wanted to help with the vacuuming.
Now that the vacuuming is done and Corey turned it off, she pitching a fit and yelling 'more.'

School supplies
As a Newell-Rubbernaid employee, Corey gets special discounts on tons of products made and distributed by the company - the even have a store for employees in the office. Corey brought home his first purchase today, a dry-erase marker board and fancy set of markers for Rosalyn to color with.

On the shoulders of...

Nope, not giants. Just Sophia. We went on a walk with the GRs, and Corey put Roz on his shoulders. So of course a 3 year old thinks she can carry Roz on her shoulders.

Horse play

It was fun to see Ethan and Sophia when we got back on Sunday. Thankfully, Esther invited us over for dinner since there was no food in the house and I was too tired from our late return to put a decent meal together!
I think this game is called Tackle Corey. It's a Rosalyn/Sophia/Ethan favorite.

Welcome home!
Rosalyn was so happy to be home and see the puppies. Her face lit up like Christmas morning when she got to see them, and it was like all of her toys were new again (yes!).

Rozi and Rosi
During our layover / delay in Salt Lake, we met another little girl Rosalyn's age who was also reaching her travel limit.
Her name was Rose, so Rosi and Rozi had fun playing together most of the time, and each had periodic break-downs as well.
