Caroling
Rosalyn loves the new snowman and angel figurines we got for our Christmas decorations, and she's enjoyed joining them in the yard to sing Christmas carols.

Mohawks and Christmas dresses
From Tuesday:
Exactly one month old tonight and Teagan's hair is almost ready for her first Mohawk.
Rosi and Carsen enjoyed sleeping in this morning (aka, mama and daddy enjoyed it!) before heading into daycare. Carsen is very adamant about dressing herself these days, and today she wanted to wear this Christmas dress. Rosi, on the other hand, wanted to wear a sundress... With some tights and a sweater to keep warm.

Santa Claus
Santa brought us a talkative 2 year old this year. It's not always easy to understand her, but that doesn't seem to slow her down!

Garden lights
We made our annual trip to see the lights at the Botanical Garden on Friday. Corey gt held up at work, so the three girls and I ventured in alone at first. It wasn't too long before we started melting down and were ready to leave, but Corey called to say he was on the way right when we were pulling out of the parking spot, so we parked again, had some snacks in the car while we waited for Daddy, and then went back in for a splendid time.
Rosalyn loved all the lights and music, and Carsen's favorite thing was the model train area. Teagan slept most of the time and enjoyed staying warm against her Mama.

Selfie
I think Rosalyn had learned what Selfies are, and the other night when she climbed on the couch with me and Teagan, I thought she wanted to snuggle, but she actually just wanted to take some Selfies.

Thumb sucker
Teagan is a much earlier and more dedicated thumb sucker than Rosi or Carsen.
We all love looking into those bright blue eyes.
School celebrations!
Rosalyn had a very eventful week at school - the last week in her first semester of Kindergarten. On Tuesday, they learned about Hanukkah and decorated gingerbread houses.
On Wednesday, they went to see the Nutcracker.

Carsen's Christmas program
Carsen's Christmas program was Tuesday evening. She was so cute, and she loved wearing her new squeaky shoes on stage.
Cookie decorating
The girls had fun decorating and eating their cookies. For Carsen, that meant drenching the cookie in frosting, swirling it around, and then licking it off her finger.
Cookie video 2
Carsen's version of decorating her cookie was to slather it with frosting, swirl the frosting around the cookie and then lick her fingers
She had lots of fun!

Christmas cookies
We made some Christmas cookies Sunday after church. While Carsen and Teagan napped, Rosi and I made the dough and started cutting out the cookies, but we saved some dough for Carsen to help too.
Carsen loved wearing this Christmas dress, and since she could no longer fit into her old dress shoes, we found some that fit her in our shoe bin - they happen to be the shoes that squeak with every step. She loved the shoes and the dress so much that she wouldn't take either off durin her nap. So here she is baking cookies in her full Christmas/church attire.

Homecoming!
Teagan and I returned home yesterday after taking my mom to brunch for her birthday with Corey, the girls and Uncle Clint. My dad caught the gunk and couldn't come with us.
I got this photo when I woke up Sunday morning. Corey and the girls made it to let me know when everyone was feeling well enough for me and Teagan to come home.
