Weekend fun

We had a fun but busy weekend, including a birthday party at the airport park, a mommy-older-daughter pedicure, movie night with the neighbors, Waumba Land, and soccerfest.

This was Rosalyn's first "real pedicure" - as opposed to just having her nails painted.

Carsen wore herself out so well she plopped down in the living room for a little nap.

Or at least pretended to nap for a while, but she gave herself away with this cute smile when I started snapping photos!

Late movie

I went out to dinner with a friend last night, and Corey took the girls to an outdoor movie in our neighborhood.  They met up with some of our daycare friends, and it was a fun but late night.  I was already in bed when they got home.

Not surprisingly, both girls were super cranky this morning, so I don't think we'll be doing that again on a weeknight anytime soon.

Macon

Rosalyn spent a few days in Macon last week.

She fed the birds (and squirrels and chipmunks).  Those appear to be piles of bird feed lining Iffy's back deck, so I think all of the local critters will be pretty well fed.

She played tennis in the garage, and them came home and wanted us to move things to make room for tennis in our carport.

She visited Granny and went with her to physical therapy.

She also rested and watched White Christmas (3 times).

And of course no trip to Macon is complete without feeding the ducks and geese and riding her bike at Macon State.

A little stretch of beach

We were surprised at how little beach there was in the keys.  Here's a little stretch where we stopped for a picnic lunch one day near Bahia Honda Key.

And here's a little pocket of beach behind a restaurant where we had dinner in Key West.

Baseball and dog watching

Rosalyn had another outing with her friend Logan on Wednesday - Logan's mom took them to a Braves game.

And the other day, Carsen carried her seat and breakfast over to the dog crate to sit and watch them going in and out through the doggie dog.  Great entertainment!

Dandelions

Carsen had fun learning to blow the seeds off dandelions.
