Famous Roz

I think most people have seen this by now, but just in case...

Go dog go

Rosalyn put me and Corey down for naps on the couch and chair this afternoon. Then she went to put all of her animals down for a nap too. When she came back and caught me awake, she pulled up a chair to sing be back to sleep and read me a book. She's currently reading taffy a book. :)

Movie date

P600

This picture is hard to see, but Rosalyn had her first movie date last night. Our neighborhood had a movie in the park, so lots of families came out. Rosalyn wanted to be wherever our friend Ethan was sitting. Ethan wanted to sit with friends his own age but was happy to have Roz along too.

Not our neighbor

Rosalyn and Ansley have been having lots of fun together recently. They have splashed in puddles, played in the pool, on the slide, etc etc.
A few nights ago when Rosalyn asked me to tell her a night-night story, I started with "once there was a sweet big girl named Rosalyn, and she had a sweet little neighbor named Ansley"
Rosalyn cut me off: "no mama! Ansley's not my neighbor, she's my friend."

Sweet singing

Thirsty

We worked in the yard today, and Corey took this big water jug outside. We took a cup outside for Rosalyn, but she preferred to drink from the cooler like Daddy.

Friends

We recently had dinner with friends, and Rozi had a blast playing with their son Dave.

And the other day after it rained, we splashed around in some puddles with our favorite neighbor, Ansley! Ansley loves giving hugs. :)

Iffy taught Rosalyn to cut and paste (non-electronically). They are having a blast.

Baby

Rosalyn is very proud to take care of her babies, who are both named "Baby Self." Here, she rocks them in her arms while singing rock-a-bye baby and then pats them to sleep on the guest bed.

Helper

Rosalyn is such a helpful lady. She helped me collect some radish seeds from plants that we had let go to seed. She has fun crumbling the dried pods and separating the seeds.

She has also been helping with small dinner tasks, such as tearing the kale into small pieces for me to add to a stir-fry.
