Playtime

I took the girls out to a new park in the area on Sunday while Corey worked on the bathroom. It was a beautiful day to spend outside!

As we were leaving, Rosi noticed some trash in the parking area and said, "Mom, I'm a junior ranger and a Girl Scout, so I have to pick up this trash."

Fun times

Carsen loves helping daddy, and Teagan enjoyed her last bottle of breastmilk this weekend. In between standing tall and splashing in the bath, she's now drinking regular whole milk. :)

Growing up so fast

Carsen had a fun time on her sleepover with Auntie Chica on Thanksgiving night, and Teagan practiced her standing, including almost falling asleep standing up at the ottoman. :)

Ode to the geode

We had a lovely thanksgiving today, and Carsen is spending the night with Auntie Chica. After Teagan went to sleep, Rosalyn and I had some reading / popcorn time. After a little of that, we had this conversation:

Rosalyn: Can we do something with DNA or do another science experiment or something tonight?

Me: You just got a geode kit for your birthday, didn't you?

Rosalyn: Yeeessss!!! Let's do it!

So we did!

Feeding ducks and children

The girls love feeding the ducks in Macon, including this chef specialty: duck quesadilla.

They also feed the Rosis .

Fine dining and fine art in Macon

The older girls are spending a couple days in Macon, including gluten free pigs-in-a-blanket and messy paint!

Birthday rocking horse

Mud and Boppa gave us this adorable rocking horse when Rosalyn turned 1. Carsen enjoyed it (and still does), and now Teagan is ready to ride!

Third time's the charm

We had a third round of birthday singing the next morning after Rosi's friends went home because Carsen had to go to bed before we did the birthday song and cake.

Birthday sleepover

After bingo, some of the girls came to our house for a sleepover, and we had another round of singing with her cake.
