Oh, wait... The birthday continues
The day after Rosalyn's birthday, more special things arrived. Rosalyn got a pretty yellow plant in a bumble bee bag from Mud, and Daddy came home with a pink bean bag! Both were a big hit.

That night daddy put the police scooter together while Ansley came over to play. Then her family had a final birthday dinner with us, complete with more pink cake!

Birthday lunch
After the doctors appointments, we had a special birthday lunch with our good friend BJ. Rosalyn wanted to be silly and sit in this chair toward the end. She sure is cute!
The birthday continues
To continue the birthday celebration, friends came over for dinner and more pink birthday cake on Sunday.
On Monday morning, Rosalyn had a doctor appt with the group of docs that did her surgery - ENT, pulmonology, GI. The nurse Audrey realized it was Rosalyn's birthday during check-in and then came back with this pink police scooter. I guess they have extra gifts donated from one of the make-a-wish organizations for sick kids. Though Roz appears to be the peak of perfection, I guess they decided that having a 2 hour dr appt on your birthday merits a nice prize. Needless to say, Rosalyn was very excited.
Of course, I am excited that we've had very little wheezing and no need for oral steroids in the last two months since the surgery. But the doctors decided they might still want to see her back in the office in a few months just because she's so cute.

Bow-tiful lady
On Sunday after church, Rosalyn and I went to the container store in search of some extra baskets for organizing her toys. They were having a demo about making bows for gift wrapping, and Rosalyn wanted to watch. They let us practice by making this green bow, so we tried it on in her hair. She wasn't quite sure how she felt about that. :)

Zoo celebration!
We had a fantastic day at the zoo today. In spite of my poor advance planning, we were able to enjoy a great day at the park and zoo with some of Rosalyn's daycare friends, plus Iffy, Papa and Aunt Megan.
We had a picnic at Grant Park and pink cupcakes, then a fun time at the zoo! The girls were a blast, and I'm not sure if the kids or parents were more exhausted at the end of the day!
Most of the photos are on my real camera. It might be a little while before they get uploaded because my computer is awaiting a hard drive replacement, so these will have to suffice for now...
