Rosalyn has big news to share with everyone...
(no, she's not going to be a big sister)

She was just taking a bath and suddenly yelled "I need to potty!". She got out of the tub, sat on the potty and promptly poo'd in the potty. Big time celebration ensued, including the writing on the bathtub wall pictured below), potty dancing, retelling of the story to daddy, a tattoo (temporary), and a new toy from daddy!

Core took Rosalyn to Tennessee to visit his family, and she appears to have been quite comfortable showing off. These are the videos Corey sent me. For Itsy Bitsy Spider, the spider goes up her arm instead of the spout. :)
I sure do miss her and look forward to having them home tomorrow!

Headband princess

Rosalyn wanted to wear this yellow headband today and insisted putting it on herself.

When we got to Iffy and Papa's house, Papa gave Rosalyn a hiking stick he made out of the trunk of a small crape Myrtle tree they cut down in their yard. Iffy and Rosalyn went on a "hike" in the backyard.

Today we came to Macon to surprise my mom for Mother's day. The video is grainy, but Rosalyn was so excited to come visit and surprise Iffy that she was stomping around the house singing "going on an iffy hunt".

Apparently she didn't learn her lesson from the goat because right after we got home, she wanted to feed the dogs.

Tasty snack

I always tell Rosalyn she is delicious, and apparently a goat at the petting zoo yesterday agreed with me. The person who works there was trying to put food in one of Rosalyn's hands to feed the animals, but one of the goats thought her other thumb would be tastier. She wailed a lot and bled a little but seems to be proud of her boo-boo now. She goes around saying "silly goat, I'm not a snack, I'm a Rosalyn!"

Then she told me that she wants to have the goat for a snack. Ironically enough, I had just thawed some goat meat to cook in the crock pot for dinner tonight, so we'll be eating goat for dinner. :)

On Friday, Rosalyn stayed home from daycare because of asthma issues. At nap time, she wanted to help each of her friends lay down or a nap (including me), but she didn't want to take one herself. She even put cookie monster on a baby bed for his nap.
In the afternoon, we went to the park with our friend Ellie and played hard with the cars, slides, sand, swings, etc. Then she finally fell asleep for a nap at 6pm. :)

Rosalyn's reward system for potty training is stickers for going peepee and tattoos for going poo (dad, please don't have a heart attack). Rosalyn got her first tattoo yesterday, and we are very excited. We are now wearing big girl panties except overnight.

Baby Easter Bunny

We still have an Easter bunny out, and as we focus on potty training, Rosalyn has been obsessed with treating the Easter bunny like her baby and changing his diaper. He must have pretty dirty diapers because she went through an entire pack of wipes to change one diaper yesterday.
