This may be more detail than most of you want to know, but until yesterday afternoon Roz went 6 days without pooping. The pediatrician said it was okay as long as she was still wetting and didn't seem uncomfortable, but it still worried me a little. Well, just as I got home from work yesterday, she decided to "release" everything she had been building up. When I changed the diaper, I had to call Corey in to take a picture because it was so full (I'll spare you the photo!). However, her cloth diaper (Crickets brand) held everything in. I was amazed - it didn't even get on the cover. She had much smaller poos explode out of disposable diapers, so I will officially endorse Crickets to anyone who ever asks about cloth diapering - maybe I should even send them the photo we took for advertising purposes! haha!

The Mobile
This finishes the last photos from our DC trip, and this has nothing to do with the inauguration. We learned something very important - Rosalyn loves mobiles!
Lana (right), 5 months, graciously shared her room with us and let Rosalyn sleep in her crib while we were visiting. (They didn't sleep in there together - this was just for a photo-op). We thought Rosalyn was too young to appreciate a mobile, but she was mesmerized by it. When we got back to Atlanta, our first task was a trip to Babies-R-Us to buy our own mobile. The following pictures are of Rosalyn and her new best friend!
Roz seems to think her mobile is the coolest invention in the world. If she knew how to speak and write, I think she would write love poems to it. She has also been reaching for things and rubbing things a lot. She really likes the caterpillar (top of this photo) and rubs it to the tune of the mobile.
She's so enamored with this thing, sometime it makes me jealous. However, it does ensure that I no longer have trouble finding time to shower.
She's becoming so active and alert now. She really sees herself in the mirror, watches what's going on around the room, swats at things that make noise and move, and wiggles all over when she's excited. Roz loves to smile, and it absolutely melts our hearts.
