Teagan's first tattoo

Another major milestone for Teagan this week. She has earned at least one sticker every day this week for going potty (while I was at work), and she earned her first tattoo this afternoon (then promptly pee'd on the living room floor).

Flying Eagle

Rosi received a Flying Eagle award at the mid-year celebration this week. After we took the photo, she told us she was disappointed that she didn't get the "As and Bs" award - I guess she didn't realize that Flying Eagle was the top award for all As!

Teagan's first haircut

Part of me can't believe we've already reached this milestone, and part of me is amazed that we were able to put it off this long since she's my only baby that wasn't bald at birth (and especially with the tangle of curls)!

Christmas dresses

They were excited to wear their pretty Christmas dresses, but they wouldn't cooperate very well for a nice photo.

Christmas singing, take 2

They night after Rosi's school holiday show, her Girl Scout troop went to a local senior center to sing Christmas songs and visit with the residents.

It was a big hit for the seniors and the scouts.

They sang some very familiar Christmas songs as well as they songs they learned for school. Rosi sang Joy to the World as a solo because the other girls didn't know that one and she really wanted to sing it. Carsen joined her for moral support.

Holiday show

Rosalyn's holiday show was wonderful last week. She is in the middle of the front row with a cream-colored cardigan and headband. You couldn't actually see her while the were singing because the music teacher blocked our view of her, but he stepped to the side in between songs, so I was able to get a few photos.

We sat next to one of Carden's friends, and they enjoyed watching the show together.

Teagan had the best seat in the house.

The girls weren't very excited when I interrupted them playing with friends to get a photo after the show.

Early Christmas present

This is the new bed for Carsen and Teagan, but Rosi and Corey are pretty excited about it too.

Reading slightly above grade level

Carsen loves reading, or at least the idea of it. She told me papa read it to her last time she was in Macon, so now she can read the whole thing all to herself.

Nice list

Sister time

Christmas tree lighting

We went to a Christmas tree lighting in the local park. They had fun holiday crafts, Christmas music, and Santa.
It was very cold. Carsen and Teagan preferred to snuggle the big bear and watch Rosi talk to Santa from afar.

ouch

Carsen was showing off her spinning talent in the kitchen, and one of the cabinet knobs jumped up and punched her.

elf

We have an elf. Mama's not a huge fan, but its growing on me. Everyone else is thrilled and loves her. Her name is Merry.

fashionista

Teagan loves her cute little boots with any pants or none!

Sweetwater Creek, take 2

The girls and I had so much fun at Sweetwater Creek the weekend of Rosi's birthday that we decided to go back again and take Iffy and Papa for Iffy's birthday.
