First date
Today after Rosalyn's pre-k graduation (photos and videos to come, they are on the real camera), she went with a classmate Logan and his mom to the zoo.
Logan's mom just sent me this photo.

Fun times in the Keys
We are in the Keys and having fun with these girls. We stopped to spend the night in Gainesville, FL on the way down, and Carsen was so cute just before waking up in the morning.
On our first full day in Key Largo, we went to John Pennecamp, a coral reef state park. It was cloudy and windy, and visibility was low, but we rented a snorkel mask for Rosalyn to practice with at the little beach there in case we got to snorkel later. Then we went on a big glass bottom boat out to the coral reef. The waves were big out there, but there was good visability at the reef.
We've eaten dinner outside overlooking the beach every night. On our second night in Key Largo (after going to the reef), this beautiful pelican perched right beind our table, and there were tarpon swimming and jumping in the water below.
Then there was some fun live music at the restaurant, and we enjoyed letting the girls nice and stay out very late. It started raining while the music was playing, but we just kept going and danced in the rain.
The next day was spent at the Theater of the Sea animal park which rehabilitates injured animals that can't live in the wild. They have dolphins, sea lions, parrots, and other animals. The girls enjoyed the shows. It's a small place, so when they called on volunteers to interact with the animals during the dolphin and sea lion shows, Rosalyn got to do both. She got to pet a dolphin and throw a ring to the sea lion. Then Rosalyn and Corey got to swim with dolphins (pregnant women and toddlers not allowed). We have photos and videos of all this on the regular camera, so will have to post that when we get home.
Sunsets on the first two nights were not very exciting because it was really cloudy. This sunset on our third night was better. We also got to listen to live music during dinner and dance that night too. These girls are quite a hit on the dance floor.

Babyland General Hospital
While I was traveling for work, Corey and his mom took the girls to Babyland General Hospital, home of the Cabbage Patch Kids.
Mother's Day
Happy Mother's Day to our moms, grandmothers, aunts and other special ladies in our lives. Rosalyn, Carsen and I drew this garden of handprint flowers!
Rosalyn and Corey woke with up with a huge breakfast in bed, so big that it took all four of us to eat it all. So I'm looking forward to finding a few crumbs when we crawl in bed tonight - thanks Carsen!
We found this little dress in a box of Rosalyn's old clothes, so Rosalyn decided that Carsen should put on her first fashion show / song and dance performance for mothers's day. Rosalyn decided to help her get dressed for te performance.
We had a pit stop at the mall after church today, and we saw this fun couch. Rosalyn tried to hold Carsen's head so she would look at the camera.
Sweet beautiful girls.

Meeting with the principal
We pre-registered Rosalyn for kindergarten yesterday. Yikes!
She saw and recognized the principal while we were there, so she and her friend Abigail decided to go say hello. They patiently waiting for her to finish another conversation, and then they chatted with her for several minutes. I have no idea what they said, but I was proud of them for going right up and saying hello.

Hair stylin'
Corey went to get his haircut today, and Rosalyn decided that she wanted to go and get her haircut touched up. It looks pretty cute to me!

Hair doin'
Rosalyn got adventurous and decided to cut her hair this afternoon. Corey was watching a tv show while I napped on the couch, and she came up to tell us a story about how she figured out a better way to clean up dog hair (than vacuuming) - just cut it with scissors!
I noticed that her hair looked more tapered in the front, and she had a lot of hair on her shirt that didn't look like dog hair. Also, her neck was itching her a lot. Hmm, suspicious.
Then Corey noticed the back of her head, where a big bunch was chopped out. We thought it was pretty hilarious, which I think upset her more than if we had yelled at her.
