Blowing Bubbles

Nope, not this kind of bubbles.

















rosalyn has learned to blow bubbles with the food - what fun! This is a photo after she had beets for dinner - bright pink all over!


I've had a hard time getting a good video of this because she gets distracted every time I have the camera out and stops the bubbles, but here's the best I've gotten.

Crib play

Rosalyn is super mobile now, even though she's not actually crawling. She scoots all over her crib, and she's rarely in the same place each morning as we left her the night before.

She loves to stick her tongue out the side of her mouth.

She certainly finds some crazy positions for sleeping too. It's almost like she is playing and twisting, then suddenly she falls asleep in the middle of a movement. We decided to lower her mattress in the crib yesterday so make sure she doesn't learn to pull herself up during the night.

Pool time

My mom came to visit this week, and she wore Rosalyn out each day. They walked, played, read, swung, etc. We also got Rosalyn a baby pool for the yard, complete with elephant slide/sprinkler. Here are a few photos of the pool. Rosalyn really seems to love the water!

Pedicure

Roz is just so cute sitting in this chair, the Bumbo. We usually keep it in the kitchen, and she likes to sit there to watch while I'm cooking.

The other day I sat down to eat lunch while she sat in the Bumbo, and she made so many cute faces, I had to get the camera.

Then she noticed the bright color of my nails (I had gotten a pedicure the day before), and she kept reaching for my feet.

It was like she found a new toy - she even tried to put them in her mouth (I didn't let her) :)

Clint feeds Roz!

Uncle Clint and his girlfriend visited last weekend, and Clint got to feed Roz for the first time. She loves to eat, and I love all of the silly faces she makes during feeding times. :)

And when she blows bubbles in her food - just because she can!

Rockin'

Roz really likes playing in her PackNPlay. Now that she can push up to her knees, she likes to make it rock back-and-forth.
